Packaging suggestions

Standard Protected Shipment

Suggested for raw cards below $300 total line-item value

Packaging

  • Card in penny sleeve
  • Rigid holder (top loader or semi-rigid) and sealed team bag
  • No loose movement inside the parcel
  • Rigid mailer or small box with bend protection

If shipping

  • Share tracking with the other collector
  • Consider insurance up to full line-item value

Secure High-Value Shipment

Suggested for any graded slab or shipment at $300+ line-item value

Packaging

  • Everything in Standard Protected Shipment
  • Boxed with internal padding (not flat mailer only)
  • Tamper-evident sealing strongly recommended

If shipping

  • Share tracking with the other collector
  • Consider insurance up to full line-item value
  • Signature confirmation strongly recommended

Insurance and signature guidance

If both sides agree to ship, discuss insurance before payment. Signature confirmation is strongly recommended for shipped line-items at or above $300.00.

Operational rules

  • Capture clear card-condition photos before packing.
  • Capture parcel photos after packing and after label application.
  • Retain carrier receipt, declared value, and package weight for claim support.
  • Report transit or condition issues quickly, ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Keep unboxing evidence and packaging until both sides agree the issue is resolved.

Meetup reminder

For local deals, confirm the card in person before handing off payment. Card shops, shows, and other public meetup spots keep the process simple.
